Introduction

These terms are an agreement between you and Filtercode LTD regarding the Talkraft app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how your data is handled.

Who we are

Talkraft is provided by Filtercode LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10554106), with its registered office at 3rd Floor 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE. Contact: support@talkraft.app.

Licence

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Talkraft for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement (EULA). You may not sell, sublicense, or redistribute the app.

Age requirement

Talkraft is intended for users aged 16 and over. By using the app you confirm that you are at least 16 years old.

Subscriptions & purchases

Talkraft offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription:

• Free — up to 5 recordings per week, on-device transcription, basic summaries, and plain-text export. Transcripts older than 30 days move to an archive: hidden, not deleted, and restored in full if you upgrade to Pro.
• Pro — unlimited recordings, AI structuring, sync, the Mac app, and all exports, for £29.99 per year or £3.99 per month.

Pro annual includes a 7-day free trial; no payment is taken until the trial ends. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Billing is handled by Apple through your App Store account. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions (Apple ID Settings). Exact prices may vary by App Store storefront; the App Store shows the authoritative price at purchase.

Pro subscriptions support Apple Family Sharing, so members of your family group can use Pro at no extra cost.

Your content

You own all recordings and notes you create with Talkraft. Filtercode LTD cannot access your content — it is stored on your device and, if you opt in, in your own private iCloud. We claim no rights over it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, not to access it in an unauthorised way, and not to use it for any unlawful purpose.

Recording responsibly: you are responsible for using Talkraft lawfully, including obtaining any consent required to record other people under the laws that apply to you.

Disclaimer of warranty

Talkraft is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. AI-generated transcripts, summaries, and other structure may contain errors and should be verified before you rely on them.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the law of England and Wales, Filtercode LTD will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

This licence ends automatically if you breach these terms. You can end it at any time by deleting the app. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the mandatory law of your country of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and material changes will be noted in the app's update notes. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
